Andrew Garfield on Emma Stone: 'I'm Her Biggest Fan'
Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone may have parted ways as a couple, but they're still very supportive of each other.
On the premiere night of Andrew Garfield's new film "Breathe," co-starring Claire Foy, the 34-year-old gave some kind words to say about his ex, Emma Stone. The Oscar-winning actress is currently promoting her newest project "Battle of the Sexes," and interestingly, both of their films are out on cinemas. Thankfully, Garfield doesn't think much about the competition, and instead, he admitted how excited he is to see Stone's newest film.
"I haven't seen it but I'm very excited to," Garfield told E! News. "I'm nothing but supportive and her biggest fan."
Garfield and Stone were once one of Hollywood's most loved couples, and having first met on the set of "Spiderman," the pair inspired several fans to believe in love. Unfortunately, while their relationship had become the envy of many, not everything is meant to be as they ultimately decided to break up in 2015 after four loving years together.
Even after their breakup, though, the two still continue to inspire their fans especially with how vocally supportive they are to each other. In fact, in October last year, Emma Stone described her ex someone she "still really love." On his part, Garfield had told Vanity Fair about his relationship with Stone, saying, "We care about each other so much, and that's a given, that's kind of this unconditional thing. There's so much love between us and so much respect. I'm her biggest fan as an artist."
While many wish to see the former couple back together, a source close to the pair had revealed back in August that the two are close to getting back together and that the only thing stopping that is "timing."
Still, whatever may happen to them in the future, the two exes have shown that it is still possible for former couples to be supportive and friendly even after separating.
