Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt Wedding Pictures Released; Children Designed Veil, Wrote Couple's Vows (PHOTOS)
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt released wedding photos yesterday and new details about the couple's wedding have been revealed.
On August 23 the "Maleficent" actress, 39, and the "Fury" star, 50, tied the knot in a chapel at their wine-growing estate, Château Miraval in France. Jolie wore a stunning white Luigi Massi gown and her matching veil featured colorful drawings by her six children.
"Luigi is like family to me and I couldn't imagine anyone else making this dress," Jolie told People.com which published photos. "He knows and cares for the children and it was great fun putting it together."

Maddox, 13, Pax, 11, Zahara, 9, Shiloh, 8, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 6, all played significant roles on their parents' big day. The two oldest boys walked the Hollywood actress down the aisle and Zahara and Vivienne were flower girls, while Shiloh and Knox served as ring bearers.
A reported 20 guests attended the couple's intimate nuptials, proving the pair wanted to keep the occasion private.
"It was important to us that the day was relaxed and full of laughter," the couple said. "It was such a special day to share with our children and a very happy time for our family."
The event was far from traditional as the children wrote Jolie and Pitt's wedding vows. While many Hollywood couples often opt for opulence and grandeur on their wedding day, Pitt and Jolie naturally went with modesty and simplicity in planning their big day.
The proved to be very down-to-earth as Pitt is reported to have worn a traditional tux from his closet and a tie borrowed from one of his sons after forgetting to pack his own. Vivienne, who made her acting debut along her mother in May, also wore a dress from her closet.
Pax reportedly baked the wedding cake and the whole family enjoyed the memorable occasion that was filled with celebration.
Jolie reportedly honored her late mother, Marcheline Bertrand, who died in 2007 after a nearly eight-year battle with ovarian cancer and breast cancer.
"[She] definitely wore something that once belonged to [her mother]. A small gold locket with a photo of her mom inside it," a source told E! adding that Jolie "had a veil," and when "Brad lifted it [he] gasped because she looked so stunning."
Pitt, who began dating Jolie in 2005, proposed to the Academy award-winning actress in 2012.
