'Anime-Gataris' Anime Spoilers: Who Gets Shrouded in Light in Upcoming Episode?
Minoa's newfound passion for anime continues to grow on the Japanese slice-of-life anime series, "Anime-Gataris." How has her recent visit to the year's comic market (Comiket) event improved her perspectives about anime and the many other things it encompasses?
When the series began, Minoa was nothing more than an incoming freshman who would occasionally dream of an untitled anime series she subconsciously remembered from her childhood.
Fast forward to five episodes later, and she seems to have settled quite well, not just in their high school's newly revived Anime Research Club, but also in the company of the said club's members.
However, amidst the excitement of her first Comiket experience, a couple of the series' unresolved mysteries were also touched on briefly. First, there was the possibility of Minoa's father, whom fans have been suspecting to be an anime-enthusiast himself, attending the event in secret.
Then there were Erika Aoyama's friends telling her how famous their high school anime club was. Were they referring to the current club or the one that may have been established some years back and could quite possibly answer the mystery behind the talking cat in the Anime Club's room?
The series may primarily be about anime and its many wonders, but there also seems to be some form of drama brewing quietly in the background.
Moreover, the next episode titled "Someone Is Shrouded in Light" hints at any number of things — from a club member taking a passionate stand for something or about someone who gains some form of enlightenment.
There is also the possibility of a new character showing up serve an unexpected purpose.
"Anime-Gataris" airs on Sundays at 10 p.m. JST on Tokyo MX and on Wednesdays at midnight JST on BS Fuji. Information on other broadcast schedules and online resources can be found on the series' official site. Episodes will also be simulcast in selected regions outside Japan via Crunchyroll.
