Apollo Nida Questions Fans Before Heading to Prison

Apollo Nida may be turning himself in to serve eight years in prison in the next few weeks, but he logged on to Twitter to question fans after his sentencing.

"I got a question," Nida tweeted. "Who will ride with me?? Thanks."

He later deleted the statement to pose another question to fans.

"Question?? DOES ANY-1 HAVE ANYTHING POSITIVE TO SAY WTF," Nida tweeted.

Nida has received an eight-year prison sentence for allegedly creating fake businesses, false bank accounts and using stolen checks while defrauding automotive lenders. The 35-year-old fitness guru became famous after appearing on "Real Housewives of Atlanta" as attorney Phaedra Parks' husband.

However, Parks was reportedly absent from his sentencing and has allegedly been estranged from her husband for over three months, according to Radar Online reports. Still some fans have taken to Twitter to let Nida know they would support him after he posed his questions.

"Everything is going to be okay," one fan tweeted.

Another person offered Nida words of encouragement by tweeting, "Apollo, keep your head up. Things happen for a reason. If you believe in a higher being, seek such assistance."

While other people encouraged Nida with prayers and support amid his legal woes, his wife is reportedly doing great. Parks' singer and producer friend Kandi Burruss, who also stars on the Bravo television series, insists that Parks is doing fine.

"Phaedra's doing great. She's basically working," Burruss told HollywoodLife.com. "That's how I deal with things too; when I have a lot going on, I just put more into work."

Burrus added, "I know that she's promoting her book and doing the book tour and stuff like that and she's not really trying to focus as much on what's happening."

After it was reported that Parks was absent from Nida's sentencing, his lawyer publicly thanked his mother and brother for support.

"Apollo is elated that this proceeding is past him and is no longer hanging over his head. It meant everything to him that his mother and brother spoke on his behalf," Apollo's lawyer Thomas D. Bever told People magazine. "He's OK, and will get through this."
