'Arrow' Season 4 Spoilers: Is Felicity or Diggle in the Grave?

The mid-season finale of "Arrow" saw fans saddened by the fact that Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) was on the brink of death, at the same time angered by the attack that put her in that dangerous situation. The show's main protagonist, Oliver Queen or the Green Arrow, played by Stephen Amell, is of course justified in intensifying his manhunt for villain Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough). According to a report in International Business Times, the new trailer for the January 20 episode "Blood Debts" shows Oliver going on a "revenge spree."

In the new teaser trailer, Oliver is shown watching medical personnel working on what looked like a critically-injured Felicity. He is also heard saying that it is not his "fault" but rather his "responsibility," possibly referring to what happened to his fiancée. According to the trailer, the episode will be the start of the Arrow's intensified hunt for Darhk.

The trailer also showed the re-appearance of another villain, Anarky, a psychopath who now uses a new pyroweapon. It is not clear in the trailer if Team Arrow was able to defeat him again or if he will continue to remain a threat throughout the season.

Towards the end of the trailer, Oliver is shown crying in front of a grave which some are saying is that of Felicity's. According to the IBT report, however, it may be somebody else's grave because an international trailer that was leaked recently showed Donna Smoak, Felicity's mother who is played by Charlotte Ross, saying that Felicity had only been paralyzed and not killed. This trailer however was immediately removed, the report indicated.

Another report in Design and Trend speculated that another major character may be in the grave. According to the report, that person may be John Diggle, played by David Ramsey. Oliver, who is repeatedly shown crying over the grave and swearing that he will "kill" him, is obviously close to whoever was just laid to rest. Secondly, Barry Allen or the Flash, who was also seen paying his respects during the funeral, may not know the person too well and according to the report, he did not seem too affected by it. The last point the report made was that Diggle's character was the least important among the main characters.
