Ashley Judd to Talk About Harvey Weinstein's Sexual Advances in First TV Interview

Actress Ashley Judd is scheduled to appear on a series of ABC shows for an interview about her allegations about producer Harvey Weinstein.

For the first time since going public about Weinstein's unwanted sexual advances, Judd will sit down with Diane Sawyer for a tell-all. That interview is slated to air on Thursday. Segments should be aired on ABC News. This includes "Good Morning America, "World News Tonight With David Muir," and "Nightline."

ABC News Digital and ABC News Radio will also play back that interview for their patrons to hear.

When The New York Times dropped the article about decades of sexual harassments from eight women, Judd was one of the brave souls who came out and detailed how she fell victim to those advances in a hotel room at Peninsula Beverly Hills about two decades ago.

According to the actress, Weinstein sent her up to his private quarters, in the guise of business. But she was met by the producer in a bathrobe, and it was there that he asked sexual favors. Weinstein asked if Judd could massage or watch him shower. All of which she rejected.

"I said no, a lot of ways, a lot of times, and he always came back at me with some new ask," said Judd. "It was all this bargaining, this coercive bargaining."

Since Weinstein's sexual proclivities have been made public earlier this month, numerous women have found the courage to speak out about the producer's advances. Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Beckinsale, Cara Delevingne, and Angelina Jolie are some of Hollywood's top celebrities who have fallen victim to the producer. There are already 38 women who have come out and accused Weinstein of sexual harassment.

In the wake of all the allegations, Weinstein has been booted from his own company, The Weinstein Co. Additionally, he has been dropped by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences as well as BAFTA.

Weinstein continues to receive treatment for sex addiction.
