'Assassin's Creed: Origins' to Feature Educational Game Mode Showcasing History of Ancient Egypt

"Assassin's Creed: Origins" has an exciting new trailer featuring a lot of sand.

On Friday, "Assassin's Creed" released a brand new trailer for its latest installment showcasing the beauty of Ancient Egypt all the while giving hints and clues about its impending demise.

It can be noticed that the full CGI trailer didn't give away anything about the gameplay or even the story of the upcoming "Assassin's Creed: Origins" game. Instead, it featured in great cinematic detail the way of life in Ancient Egypt while also giving emphasis on how it's all about to end as everything crumbles to dust.

The trailer also sees the upcoming game's protagonist, Bayek, walking in the midst of the dust, which may imply how the Assassin's Guild would rise from the ashes of Ancient Egypt since the game is, in fact, an origin story for the whole series.

</p><p>Aside from the trailer, Ubisoft also announced that once the game is released, players will also be given the chance to explore the virtual Ancient Egypt in all of its glory through the Discovery Tour game mode.</p><script src="https://player.anyclip.com/anyclip-widget/lre-widget/prod/v1/src/lre.js" pubname="christianpostcom" widgetname="0011r00002XMEVu_11109"></script><p>In the Discovery Tour game mode, the entire game will basically turn into a virtual museum free from all forms of combat complete with guided tours.</p><p>"This is something we've wanted to do for a long time, that we've been asked to do by teachers, by institutions," says Ubisoft creative director Jean Guesdon said in a blog <a href="http://blog.ubi.com/assassins-creed-origins-discovery-tour-shows-different-side-ancient-egypt/" target="_blank">post</a>. "Discovery Tour is another way to enjoy the beauty of the world we've recreated. It's a more educative mode, so it's clearly focused on education and on bringing to people actual facts, more academic knowledge," Guesdon added.</p><p>The company has hired historians and Egyptologists in order to create a somewhat accurate Ancient Egyptian setting.</p><p>The game is expected to be released on Oct. 27 while the Discovery Tour mode will be available for download for
