Assassin's Creed: Unity and Assassin's Creed Rogue Scheduled for Nov. 11 Release
Ubisoft is not releasing one, but two Assassin's Creed games coming Nov. 11. While most are familiar with Assassin's Creed: Unity with all its game trailer hype and live-action teasers, another Assassin's Creed game, Rogue, is also going to be released alongside Unity.
The main difference between the two games is that while Assassin's Creed: Unity is coming out for the next-gen consoles (Playstation 4, Xbox One, and the PC), Assassin's Creed: Rogue is coming out for the older-gen consoles (Playstation 3 and Xbox 360).
Both Assassin's Creed games will be featuring different stories but it comes to a surprise as how Ubisoft can produce two games at the same time, even if they are coming out on different generation consoles. Either way, players and fans of the video game franchise are at crossroads on which one to get -- mostly depending on what generation console they are currently in possession.

Unity is set during the French Revolution and features Arno Dorian as the main character. His father is also an assassin but is killed, and now Arno is on a mission to find out who killed his father. Fans think that the Unity storyline is similar to previous Assassin's Creed games and only offers the French Revolution setting and cooperative multiplayer as its main selling points.
Rogue on the other hand seems to take place after Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag with its inclusion of naval elements. This time however, the players will be playing as Shay Cormac, a former Assassin who was betrayed and is now fighting for the Templars in a bid for revenge.
