Asus ZenFone Selfie is Unannounced, But Rumored to Boast 13MP Front Camera
After launching one of the most popular Android smartphones this year, Asus reportedly has a number of other devices in line for the coming months. One of these devices include a cheaper ZenFone, a ZenPad tablet, and even the upcoming ZenFone 3.
However, a recent report from Phone Arena claims that the Taiwan-based manufacturer could be developing another device, aimed specifically at the selfie-conscious market.
In the report, the phone maker is allegedly working on a smartphone dubbed as the ZenFone Selfie, an Android handset that packs a 13MP front shooter. If one 13MP camera is not enough, the ZenFone Selfie allegedly has another 13MP camera at the back. Moreover, this device reportedly has laser focus technology.
If you thought that sounds familiar, well that's because LG already has it in its recent flagships, including the LG G3 and now the G4.
Aside from impressive camera specs, the Asus ZenFone Selfie is rumored to get a 5.5-inch display although the resolution is still unknown. The device will reportedly make its debut at the Computex event next week.
If all of these features are true, then Asus would be creating the perfect rival for the Desire EYE from HTC, which it announced last year.
