'Bachelor in Paradise' season 2 news: Someone just got dumped, but who?
It is expected on the season finale of "Bachelor in Paradise" that some hearts will inevitably be broken; however, a recent breakup had everyone surprised.
US Weekly reports that couple Carly Waddell and Kirk DeWindt went separate ways. The two had been dating for five weeks and had seemingly been on the track to a stronger and more serious relationship when the unexpected happened. Waddell developed a strong connection with DeWindt immediately, and the two immediately hit it off. Waddell was even quoted saying in the first episode, "I feel like I came in here knowing that I wanted to find my husband, and I can't believe I found him day one, I just consider myself the luckiest freaking person on this planet."
However, an insider reveals that the two-part finale will show DeWindt ending Waddell's fantasy. DeWindt has reportedly broken up with Waddell, as a result of a quick change of heart. The source says, "Carly said she thought she'd found her soul mate and was talking about having babies with him. But Kirk totally blindsided her and said he was far from being on the same page." This could be a major shocker as many believed DeWindt was expressing the same interest in their future together. Now whether this was a lie or DeWindt getting caught in the moment and having a later realization, everything may be explained in the next episode.
The breakup had Waddell speechless before walking out in the middle of the conversation. She was not able to hold back the tears as she insisted to go home. Apparently, even close people to the couple were shocked at what had transpired, as they share, "It was so dramatic and real. Carly was totally shocked when Kirk broke up with her. She's still very upset."
The two-part finale of Bachelor in Paradise will air on Sept. 6 and 7 on E.T. at 8 p.m.
