'Batman v Superman' Rumors: Christian Bale and George Clooney Shared Some Advice With Ben Affleck

Henry Cavill (Clark Kent/Superman) and Ben Affleck (Bruce Wayne/Batman) appeared on Wednesday's episode of "Good Morning America" to promote their upcoming superhero film "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," which hits theaters in just a little over a month.

During the taping, Affleck, who makes his big screen debut as the Dark Knight in the film, admitted that he sought advice from two previous Batmen as part of his preparation for the role. But while the advice he got from George Clooney, who played the Caped Crusader in "Batman & Robin" (1997) "is not repeatable" on television, Christian Bale, who starred in Christopher Nolan's "The Dark Knight" trilogy, told him to "make sure [he] got a zipper in the suit," which turned out to be "valuable practical advice."

In the "GMA" interview, both Cavill and Affleck admitted that the superhero versus superhero fight in the forthcoming film probably isn't a fair one, which, according to the two, makes it more interesting. While Batman does have a whole arsenal of high-tech gadgets, he is very limited to the fact that he is, after all, human. On the other hand, Superman is no mere mortal.

According to Affleck, while Superman could very well just rip off Batman's head if he wanted to, the Dark Knight "takes advantage of the fact that Superman is a good guy" to even things out.

Meanwhile, there are fresh rumors of three previously unannounced cast members in "Batman v Superman." Comic Book Movie has reported on the latest issue of French film magazine CineSaga, which reportedly published the identities of three roles in the upcoming superhero film. According to the magazine, Jena Malone plays the role of Barbara Gordon, Scoot McNairy plays Jimmy Olsen, and Callan Mulvey plays Anatoli Knyazev aka the KGBeast.

"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" hits theaters on March 25.
