'Batman vs. Superman' Movie Photo Shows Man of Steel in Gotham (LOOK)
A new image taken from the upcoming Batman vs. Superman movie hit the internet today and it shows the Man of Steel standing on the rooftop of a building in a city that looks more like Gotham than Metropolis.
The picture debuted in USA today and it points to a much darker tone for this upcoming film that will feature Henry Cavill reprising his role as Superman and Ben Affleck as a much older Batman than that was portrayed in previous iterations.
The name of the city in the background of the picture was not named in the magazine, however, it resembles the Gotham City found in the 1990s Batman animated series and the current Arkham games for the PS3 and Xbox 360.

The film's director, Zack Snyder recently discussed Cavill jumping back into the Superman role and Affleck playing an older, more over-the-hill Batman in USA Today.
"We've both created this guy and we can push him around a little bit," said Snyder. "The more time I spend with Henry, the more he's Superman to me."
He made it a point to discuss the choice of featuring Batman in the Man of Steel sequel.
"I was in no rush to put Batman in the movie, but on the other hand it seemed organic the way our story was unfolding to start to feather him in," said Snyder.
Snyder also confessed his enjoyment of watching "a crusty old Batman beating the snot out of guys."
The studio initially received backlash from fans on social media for casting Ben Affleck as The Dark Knight. However, Snyder seems confident in the choices he made for the film and is excited about how grand a picture it will be.
"You can talk all you want about other superhero movies, but its Batman and Superman, let's just be honest," he says. "I don't know how you get bigger than that."
