The popularity of smartphones and tablets has created more diverse employment opportunities in the technology industry that offer pleasant working environments, good salaries and strong hiring prospects.

The number one worst job of all was Lumberjack, which was also the worst job in previous years as well, and some experts believe that the physical demands, as well as the dangers involved are a few of the reasons why the occupation is frowned upon.

"It's not that the demand for the job is declining. It's finding people who want to do it and work hard at it that is declining. We're still using paper and wood products all the time, but nowadays, kids would rather play video games instead of working hard and getting their hands dirty," business owner, Jake Rosa told Career Cast.
