Best Friends for 95 Years Talk Hilariously About Selfies, Twerking, 'Justin Beaver' (VIDEO)
Now that an errant Facebook comment or text message can end a friendship, it's hard to imagine staying pals for decades. That makes the story of Irene Cook and Alice Jensen truly remarkable. These two 100-year-olds from Chicago have been friends for 95 years.
Cook and Jensen met when they were 5 on Chicago's North Side, where they lived a block apart. Over the years, they both married and had children and then were widowed, but they've always had each other. Now past the century mark, they still meet a few times a year.
In this feature from "The Steve Harvey Show," the BFFs are asked about today's pop culture. The centenarians give hilarious responses about selfies, tweaking and a troubled pop star named "Justin Beaver."
