'Better Call Saul' Season 2 Spoilers: Bob Odenkirk on The Evolution of Jimmy

Fans have been waiting patiently for the return of Jimmy McGill in the second season of the "Breaking Bad" spin-off series titled "Better Call Saul."

With that, news about what Jimmy McGill, played by Bob Odenkirk, will be up to in the upcoming season of "Better Call Saul." The previous season of the series saw him ready to change the course of his life after a series of decisions.

Even though Jimmy's goal is to become a corporate lawyer, he did not accept Davis and Main's offer to become one. With that, it was revealed that while Jimmy will slowly transform into his "Breaking Bad" character Saul Goodman, he will not completely transform in the next season. This will be due to Jimmy's need to soul search in order to figure out his own morals and values.

However, fans can expect that the upcoming episodes will show some progress in Jimmy's love life. There has yet to be any news on who the love interest will be in the episodes to come, but it can be speculated that his new love affair will affect his decisions for the future.

According to Variety, Odenkirk recently shared some insight about his character during the season 2 premiere of "Better Call Saul" last week. He stated, "I think it's a big drop off. It's a slow journey, and then all of a sudden, he finds himself as Saul, I think that's how it is going to go. My gut tells me he fights like hell to not be Saul, and then he just gives up for some reason that's probably pretty potent and painful."

With that, it is certain that he will eventually transform into the person he is meant to be. It is just now not sure yet as to when it will happen.

"Better Call Saul" season 2 will premiere on AMC this Feb. 15.
