Big Brother 18 News, Spoilers, Updates: Corey Brooks Wins Veto Comp; Will James Huling Throw His Game for Natalie Negrotti?

In the Big Brother 18 house, choosing your allies wisely is rule number one. James Huling and Natalie Negrotti learned this the hard way when Head of Household Victor Arroyo put them up on the block this week: partly because he chose to honor their pact with Nicole Franzel and Corey Brooks. Another because he couldn't have possibly forgotten that it was James' deciding vote that got him evicted from the House a week ago.

Of course, the obvious assumption would be that Jatalie showmance will likely split over this week as both try to save themselves from eviction, but no. Apparently James has realized just how many monumental blunders he'd done playing the BB18 game: first, choosing the Nicorey alliance over the Victor and Paul Abrahamian; not listening to Natalie when she said she wanted to keep Victor in the house; and choosing Michelle Meyer as his third ally - Michelle, who Paul once described as "literally useless."

So instead of campaigning to save himself from possible eviction, James decided to throw the game and his chances of $500,000 to Natalie, who may or may not be throwing him under the bus at the moment.

James' decision

Aware that it was his fatal decision to throw Victor instead of Corey that landed both of them in hot water this week, James told Natalie that he's "sealed his fate" and that, even if he won the Veto, he's going to use the Veto on her to make sure he goes out of the house. Natalie doesn't exactly encourage the idea, but doesn't wholly discourage it either. He even said he'll make public threats to go after each remaining house guest to encourage their vote against him, with Natalie even playfully egging that on.

Regardless, Victor and Paul have made it clear that James is the target for eviction, not Natalie, so regardless of whatever he does he's sure to go out. However, Nicole and Corey are angling to keep James over Natalie because Nicole wants to be the only girl in the house for the Final Four, so there's a possibility that James could still have the numbers.

Natalie's campaigning

Meanwhile, Natalie went ahead to Victor and Paul to "apologize" for whatever she's done last week - a less than subtle attempt to get back on their good side and win them over. She said sorry for backstabbing them and trusting the wrong opinions (a.k.a. James), while Paul reminded her they had a sturdy alliance (James-Natalie-Victor-Paul-Michelle) before the three flipped on them for Nicorey.

While it seems as if VicPaul were welcoming, Paul had gone ahead and talked to Nicorey to assure them that should James go and Natalie latch onto them (VicPaul), they (Nicorey) need not worry.

UPDATE: Veto comp results

Well, it looks like James' plan to win Veto and save Natalie is foiled, as Corey wins this week's veto comp! No word out yet on whether or not he's going to change the nominees. But Nicole is vehemently against Natalie that it's unlikely they're going to take her off the block. And putting up anybody else other than James would dishonor the VicPaul and Nicorey alliance, anyway.

Looks like the Jatalie days are numbered. Who do you think is going down this week? Tune in to the BB18 Live Feeds to find out!
