Bill Murray Crashes Bachelor Party, Gives Epic Marriage Advice to Groomsmen (VIDEO)

Bill Murray crashed a bachelor party in Charleston, South Carolina over Memorial Day weekend and gave a speech that contained some wise life advice. The 63-year-old "Ghostbusters" actor is known for popping up in random locations across the U.S., resulting in some unforgettable stories.

Bill Murray happened to be in the same restaurant as the engaged E.J. Rumpke and his 20 friends from Boston College, who were celebrating Rumpke's last hurrah as a single man. When one of the friends found out that the famous comedian was in the steakhouse, they attempted to send over drinks, but he declined.

After that, another friend approached Murray and asked if he would say a few words for Rumpke's bachelor party, but the actor declined.

"My buddy comes back up dejected and tells us it's not going to happen," a friend recounted in a summary he sent to Deadspin. "Two minutes later, Bill f------ Murray walks into the room and gives this speech."

The groomsmen made sure to tape the speech, in which a wizened Murray explained that bachelor parties aren't really for the groom-to-be.
"You know how funerals are not for the dead, they're for the living?" he started. "Bachelor parties are not for the groom, they're for the unmarried."

"Listen here, I'm going to give you all advice because it's too late for this guy," Murray continued, motioning to the future groom. "This is what I recommend to you. If you have someone who you think is the one … Take that person and travel around the world. Buy two plane tickets and travel all around the world. Go to places that are hard to go to and hard to get out of."

"And when you come back to JFK (Kennedy Airport), you're still in love with that person, get married at the airport," Murray said.
