'Black Sails' Season 3 Episode 2 Spoilers: Eleanor's Decision Endangers Nassau; Flint Forges Alliance With Blackbeard
The third season of Starz's hit sea adventure drama TV series "Black Sails" continues this week with a brand new episode that will see Eleanor (Hannah New) striking a deal with Captain Rogers (Luke Roberts) where its outcome spells the destruction of Nassau. Meanwhile, despite their differences in living the pirate life, Captain Flint (Toby Stephens) might be forced to forge an ally with an unlikely seafarer.
The spoiler report from Carter Matt for Season 3 Episode 2 revealed that Eleanor is still being held captive in London. The Chief Fence and Supplier in Nassau knows all too well that her life is in grave danger as she can be facing the guillotine anytime for her crime of doing business with the pirates.
However, her steely resolve will soon be tested when Captain Rogers approaches her with a deal that could give her freedom back. Consequently, this deal could also mean the British Navy forces storming the pirate island and putting an end to all the activities happening there.
The promo trailer for the episode meanwhile revealed the dreaded choice Eleanor made as it showed Captain Flint going on a frenzy trying to stop Roger's forces from taking over Nassau.
It is highly likely that "XX" will see the downfall and capture of Nassau in the hands of the authorities. However, fans should brace themselves for exhilarating battle scenes as the people take arms to vanquish the enemy. Moreover, it is expected for Flint to strike an alliance with the other pirates operating in the area. Of course, this could also mean that he has to shake hands with Blackbeard (Ray Stevenson) himself.
Stephens, who recently talked to Collider, revealed that the problem with Blackbeard is that he wants to make changes in how the pirates should do business. Being an "old-school," the elderly pirate wants everyone to revert back on how they do things in his time. This will eventually put him at odds with the others including the Flint.
Find out how these events unfold when "Black Sails" Season 3 airs this Saturday, Jan. 30 on Starz.
