In Blue Bloods Season 7 premiere later in the fall, Danny Reagan will face one of the greatest challenges of his life. Frank might be in a romantic relationship while Jamie will work on a case involving a celebrity drunk driver.

In the previous season, Danny killed the serial killer Thomas Wilder after he put Danny's niece, Nicky, in danger. Although it was purely an act of self defense, Danny's life may be turned upside down in the season premiere episode.

Someone from the Attorney General's office named Michel Lewis will start snooping around on what really happened especially since the incident involved someone Danny cared about a lot. Michael Imperioli will play the role of Lewis, a man looking for evidence that can put Danny in deep trouble.
Frank Reagan
Tom Selleck has signed on to reprise his role of Police Commissioner Frank Reagan in Blue Bloods Season 7. It will be recalled that in the season 6 finale, Frank was able to stop Mayor Poole from resigning from his post because he felt guilty over Officer Haye's death. Poole was supposed to apologize publicly and announce his resignation but Frank stopped him before he went live on TV.
With Frank back for the season, he will continue to deal with his job, family and politics. In the premiere episode, Frank will be asked by a widow named Grace to stop her son from joining the police force. She is a widow of a slain police officer that would explain her reason for begging Frank to help her. Lori Loughlin of Full House fame will guest star as Grace.
It has been reported that Blue Bloods Season 7 will give Frank a love interest. He certainly deserves one since it has been a while since he lost his wife. If ever, Frank's new relationship will be one of the highlights of the new season.
The Other Blue Bloods
Also included in the Blue Bloods family of the patriarch Frank is NYPD police officer Jamie and assistant district attorney Erin. Jamie will be working on a drunk driving case involving a high profile person in the Season 7 premiere episode. Frank's father, Henry, is himself a former NYPD policeman and also once been the Police Commissioner.
Blue Bloods is created by Mitchell Burgess and Robin Green. It has emerged to be one of the most popular series on CBS. Season 7 is slated to premiere on September 23.
