Bobbi Kristina Brown Health Condition News: Aunt Says She's 'Doing Well Right Now'

Bobbi Kristina Brown, the only child of the late Whitney Houston, is showing signs of improvement but remains on life support, one of her aunts said, more than a week after she was hospitalized after being found unconscious and face down in a bathtub in her Georgia home.

Leolah Brown, sister of Bobbi Kristina's father Bobbi Brown, told Fox 5 Atlanta that the 21-year old is "doing well."

"There are so many signs showing us that she will be okay," said Leolah. "In spite of what people are saying over the Internet, Krissi is fine, as I sit here before you today."

Leolah made her comments to Fox 5 Atlanta the day before Houston's third year death anniversary.

When asked if the doctors have told the family that Bobbi Kristina is improving, Leolah answered, "Yes, ma'am."

"She's still on life support. We know that she's opening her eyes. That's true. She's opening her eyes and there's a few more things that she's doing but Krissi is doing well right now. She is," she said.

Bobbi Kristina was found by her partner Nick Gordon's friend in the bathtub on Jan. 31. Gordon attempted to perform CPR before police and paramedics arrived and she was taken to a hospital. The incident remains under criminal investigation as it was previously reported that foul play is suspected.

Gordon was banned from Emory University Hospital in Atlanta after a heated argument with family members at her bedside, according to reports.

Jerod Brown, Bobbi Kristina's cousin, says that Gordon has taken legal action against the family.

"He's taken legal action in that matter to get visits to see Krissi," said Jerod to WXIA-TV's 11Alive in Atlanta.

However, lawyers Randy Kessler and Joe Habachy denied that Gordon was taking legal action.

"He remains in constant prayer for his companion and he hopes to be reunited with her soon," they said in a statement.
