Bobbi Kristina Brown Update: Whitney Houston's Daughter Hits Yahoo's 2015 Top Search List
Bobbi Kristina Brown became the most searched topic for 2015, based on Yahoo's latest end-of-the-year list.
Millions of people all over the world have become interested in Bobbi Kristina Brown and the mysterious events surrounding her death. Her story became sensational because of its eerie resemblance to the death of her late mother Whitney Houston, who was also found unresponsive in a bathtub in 2012, according to a USA Today report cited by The Inquisitr.
Bobbi Kristina Brown is the only daughter of music superstars Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown. Six months ago, Bobbi Kristina was rushed to a medical facility in Georgia after she was found face down in her own bathtub. At the time, the 22-year-old was living with her then-boyfriend Nick Gordon, the Latin Post reports.
Authorities consider Nick Gordon, Bobbi Kristina's ex-boyfriend, as the main suspect in her death. So far, no criminal charges have been filed against him. However, he was slapped with a lawsuit accusing him of physically and emotionally abusing her, plus stealing more than $11,000 from his ex-girlfriend's bank account, the report details.
In addition, police suspect that Gordon gave Bobbi Kristina contaminated heroin and a lethal amount of a drug cocktail.
On July 26, Bobbi Kristina died in Duluth, Georgia and was buried beside her mother the following month at the Fairview Cemetery in Livingston, New Jersey.
Meanwhile, Billboard says iPhone got the second spot in Yahoo's 2015 search list. Apple attributes this to the launch of its flagship smartphones iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus in September, the report details.
Caitlyn Jenner, on the other hand, is the third most searched topic in Yahoo's 2015 list. Her popularity soared after she publicly transitioned from former Olympian Bruce Jenner into a woman.
Aside from Bobbi Kristina Brown, other women who made it to the top spots in Yahoo's 2015 search list are Kendall Jenner, Jennifer Aniston, Kim Kardashian, Katy Perry, Ronda Rousey, and Farrah Abraham. Yahoo released the said results on Dec. 2.
