Bobbi Kristina Health Condition News Today: Bobby Brown Says Daughter Not Off Life Support
Gossip and rumor sites claimed Thursday that Bobbi Kristina Brown's life support machine had been switched off, but her father denied the made-up stories, calling them "false reports."
"If we issued a statement every time the media published a false report regarding this matter, that's all we would be doing 24 hours a day," he stated. "This is false, just as is the vast majority of the other reporting that is currently taking place."
Radar Online reported that Bobbi Kristina's grandmother and Whitney Houston's mother, gospel singer Cissy Houston, had flown in from her New Jersey home and has arrived at Emory University Hospital to be with her granddaughter.
"Cissy was so traumatized losing Whitney and the pain is still raw from that," said a source to the website. "Watching Krissi in the hospital and in a coma is almost more than she can handle. This is almost too much sadness for her to bear."
It has also been reported that Feb. 5 happens to be Bobby Brown's 46th birthday and according to E! News, 20 people from his side of the family gathered at a restaurant near the hospital to mark the occasion.
Sources tell E! News that while the atmosphere was subdued, one guest was spotted carrying a present and two birthday cakes were served at around 9:30 p.m.
