Boston Red Sox vs Tampa Bay Rays Live Stream Free: Watch Online ALDS Game 4 MLB 2013 Playoffs (TBS TV Info, Start Time)
Boston Red Sox vs Tampa Bay Rays takes place in Game 4 of the ALDS 2013 on Tuesday night as the MLB Playoffs first round move towards a climax.
The Rays were able to pull a game back in Game 3, but they will know they still have a long way to go and still have no room to give anything away to the Red Sox tonight. The game will start at 8.37 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).
The Rays were finally able to get on the board in this series against the Red Sox in Game 3, claiming a tense 5-4 win to take the series to 1-2. However, they come into Game 4 tonight knowing that if they lose they will still be eliminated, and they must win at all costs tonight and level the series.
The Red Sox will be disappointed that they were unable to close out the series last night, and will feel they certainly had the opportunity to win the game. They still have two more chances at claiming the win that would see them through, but they will not want to allow the Rays to square things up at 2-2 tonight and take the series to a winner takes all Game 5. Boston will be desperate to win and finish things off tonight.
Jake Peavy will take the mound for Boston, and the 12 year veteran should be a steady and experienced head for the Red Sox out in the middle tonight. This will be the first time that he has pitched in the playoffs in seven years, and he will be excited to be back in the spotlight of the Playoffs once again.
Peavy started 10 times for the Red Sox after arriving mid-season from the Chicago White Sox. He has a 4.04 ERA over those starts, but finished the season a little wobbly, earning a 5.40 ERA in four September starts. However, he has had two weeks off since he was last on the mound and the Red Sox will hope that he has shaken off whatever was causing him problems and that he comes out all guns blazing tonight.
For the Rays, Jeremy Hellickson will take the mound. He has only been in the Playoffs once before, but had a nightmare, getting pulled after just four innings against the Rangers in the 2012 ALDS after getting hit for three solo home runs.
Over the last two months, Hellickson has a 7.02 ERA, and will be hoping that the excitement and atmosphere of the playoffs helps him regain his top form.
Red Sox vs Rays will start at 8:37 p.m. ET, and can be watched on TV live on TBS, or online through free live stream by clicking here.
