'Breath of the Wild' Ending Guide: Players Need to Prepare for Two Final Boss Forms

The newly released open world fantasy adventure game, "Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild," did not disappoint fans. At the same time, the Nintendo Switch hybrid console is doing well, all thanks to the game.

One of the game's charms is that despite its numerous quests and missions, players can opt to slow down and explore the beautiful open world of "Breath of the Wild." They can also just take the time to walk around or pick fruits.

However, players need to complete missions in order to progress in the game, and that of course includes defeating the main boss in a final battle.

In "Breath of the Wild," the final boss is named Ganon and is found in the large, stone-made castle of Hyrule. Players have to be careful though, as Ganon will have two forms that need to be equally destroyed.

The first form is Calamity Ganon, the Scourge of Hyrule Castle. Apparently, Ganon's technique under this form is similar to dungeon bosses, so players are expected to be familiar with the moves and would instinctly know how to destroy it.

Players with the Master Sword, however, have an advantage as this can cause significant damage to Ganon. However, it is also advised to keep the perfect-guard shield up to avoid taking damage from Calamity Ganon's laser beams.

Ganon's second form is known as Dark Beast Ganon, and the battle will be at the Hyrule Fields, giving players more room to move around in.

During this final stage, players are advised to get the nearest Bow of Light available since this contains infinite power and ammo. Link can also pick this up immediately once the player regains control of the horse.

With the Bow of Light, players need to wait for Dark Beast Ganon's light glyphs to appear before firing shots, and it is encouraged to hit three glyphs at a time, moving to and from different sides of Ganon's body. Once a player has hit six glyphs, a seventh one will appear and this should be the last.

After defeating Dark Beast Ganon, players will see a star icon in the saved file of the game, indicating that the final boss had been defeated.

"Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" is a Nintendo-exclusive game and is only available through the Switch and Wii.
