'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' Release Date and Spoilers: Jake and Holt Still in Florida; Episodes 4.01-4.03 Unveiled

Everyone's favorite New York cop, Jake Peralta, will soon return for "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" Season 4, and it looks like mafia boss Jimmy Figgis is still onto him and Captain Raymond Holt! But after a months-long hiatus, what can we expect from the series' comeback to television? We've rounded up everything you need to know about our crazy 9-9 squad from Episodes 4.01 to 4.03: titles, synopsis, promo photos and more!

Recap of Season 3

"Brooklyn Nine-Nine's" season premiere will kick off six months after Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg) and Captain Raymond Holt (Andre Braugher) were shipped to Florida under a Witness Protection Program. This after mafia boss Jimmy "The Butcher" Figgis threatened to come at them for disentangling his operations. According to SpoilerTV, the two cops are well-adjusted in their new lives as "Greg" and "Larry," but this being the 9-9 squad, we can certainly expect them to go rogue!

'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' Ep. 4.01 and 4.02: Coral Palms

The season premiere will be divided into two parts and will share the same episodic title: "Coral Palms." First part will air by Sept. 20. The same post mentioned that Jake Peralta and Raymond Holt would be adjusting to the Florida life, though a review from Alison Golub warned fans that the squad is glaringly absent from the premiere. How can "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" pull off a season pilot without Brooklyn's best detectives?

According to Golub, Jake will try - and ultimately fail - to pull off an undercover persona, despite it being his most favorite part of the job for the past three "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" seasons. Clearly the man has been broken from the trauma and the isolation that the program has cost him, leading him to make some very Jake-esque decisions (aka accidentally making a viral video) that will soon jeopardize himself and Holt.

As for "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" Ep. 4.02, which will air on Sept. 27, Jimmy "The Butcher" Figgis will eventually catch up to Jake and Holt's viral video. The two will begin plotting their vengeance, only to find themselves being interrogated rather than interrogating. Holt, on the other hand, will be introduced to the new captain (played by Ken Marino), who's trying to take over the Brooklyn Nine-Nine precinct. How will the uptight Holt take this?

'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' Ep. 4.03: Coral

As for "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" Episode 4.03, looks like "Parks and Recreation" star Jim O'Heir (Damn it, Jerry!) will guest-star as Sheriff Reynolds! Apart from a foiled plan to help Jake and Holt take down Figgis, enthusiasts will finally see Amy Santiago (Melissa Fumero) reunite with her boyfriend Jake Swoon.

Excited for "Brooklyn Nine-Nine's" return? Tune in to FOX on Sept. 20, Tuesday, at 8:00 p.m.!
