Cancer Patients Surprised With Hilariously Bad Makeovers - See Their Reactions (VIDEO)
The thought of being diagnosed with cancer can be all-consuming. As one patient said, "You know what I miss the most? Being carefree."
The Mimi Foundation, a Belgian organization devoted to improving the lives of cancer patients, came up with a unique project last year to help 20 people diagnosed with cancer forget their malady "if only for a second." They invited their subjects to a studio to receive a free makeover, but they had to keep their eyes closed.
Hair and makeup artists proceeded to give their 20 clients ridiculously bad makeovers. When the patients were asked to open their eyes, a photographer captured their reactions, which are, of course, priceless.
The photographs were compiled into a book, and all proceeds go to the Mimi Foundation.
