Candace Cameron Bure 'Way More Excited' to See John Mayer Than 'Full House' Family, Star Jokes

Candace Cameron Bure recently attended a "Full House" reunion at the wedding of former costar Dave Coulier but also had a run-in with John Mayer. The two had previously had a brief encounter, and Bure joked that it was more fun and exciting to see Mayer than it was to see her "Full House" costars.

"He gave me a huge hug and remembered me," Bure told Us Weekly. "So I was really excited. He's hung out a handful of times, but I felt like he remembered me all on his own. I was like, 'This is awesome! This is great!' I was way more excited seeing John Mayer than my 'Full House' family."

She also noted that Mayer frequently hangs out with Bob Saget and John Stamos and she joins them. This time, though, Stamos, Saget, and Bure were in Montana for Coulier's wedding to Melissa Bring. Andrea Barber also joined the cast at the ceremony, and she and Bure had an exceptionally fun time "stealing" Stamos' cellphone and posting a selfie online.

"It was fantastic," Bure said of the wedding reunion. "We're always together, so it's not a new thing for us, but what a great reason to be together again! We had a blast. We goofed off for three days, and the 'Full House' family. I mean, they're family."

Coulier's wedding was held outdoors, overlooking the Montana countryside, making for a very memorable setting.

"The highlight for me was watching Melissa, Dave's wife, walk down the … I would say the aisle, but it was the field. She was so incredibly beautiful! She's one of my best friends, so that was incredible to see her in and definitely a highlight," Bure noted.

The "Full House" cast is frequently seen out and about together, or at special events. Co-star Lori Loughlin was supposed to attend Coulier's wedding but was unable to do so due to scheduling conflicts.
