Cardi B Accuses Cops and Hotel of Being Racist for Kicking Her Out
Cardi B has accused the cops and the hotel she stayed in at Albany of being racist for kicking her out for allegedly creating noise and using weed.
The "Bodak Yellow" was kicked out of the Hilton Albany in Albany, New York around 1 a.m. after other guests complained that there was a loud noise coming from her room, TMZ reports.
Cardi then shared that the reason they were kicked out of the hotel was that they were accused of using weed. However, the music artist denies using weed and said that she has never used weed in her life.
Cardi even shared a video on Instagram — which has already been deleted — detailing the events the night she and her team was kicked out of Albany Hotel.
"The floor that I was staying in in my hotel room, it smelled like weed. So the cops came in the middle of the night, knocking on my manager and on my door, talking about that we were smoking weed and we gotta get kicked out," Cardi said, Billboard confirmed from the post.
The Atlantic Records artist then explained that everyone who knows her personally can testify that she doesn't use weed. She also assures that none from her team smokes weed.
"If they was to kick us out for something else, all right, but for weed? I'm not taking that, because we do not smoke. I could get -- we could all get drug-tested. ... Nobody smokes, especially when I'm sleeping and I'm wild sick," Cardi continued.
According to a spokesperson for the Albany Police Department, Cardi's team were already cooperating with the hotel staff by packing their bags to leave when they arrived at the scene. When they woke up Cardi to leave, the music artist began her outburst and accused both the hotel and the police were being racist.
They also confirmed that there was no trace of weed being used by Cardi and her camp.
