'Castle' Season 8 Spoilers: Rick and Daughter Alexis Spend Some Time Together
Teasers for the upcoming episodes of "Castle" season 8 were recently posted, revealing an interesting case for both Castle and Beckett.
The most recently released teaser revealed that episode 9 of "Castle" season 8 will be titled "Tone Deaf." In the episode, Rick Castle, played by Nathan Fillion, and Kate Beckett, played by Stana Katic, will be taking on a case concerning a member of a high school's music group.
In addition, the episode will be showcasing Castle's daughter, Alexis, played by Molly Quinn. It was said that she will be accompanying her father on a case that involves a murder of a student. It was stated that the body of the student was found in a theater. The teaser for the episode shows Rick with Alexis working with the other members of the music groups.
Meanwhile, it was revealed that the 10th episode of "Castle" will be titled "Witness for the Prosecution." In the episode, fans will get a chance to see Rick testifying in court, while Kath goes head-to-head with Caleb Brown, played by Kris Polaha. Episode 10 will also feature several guest stars such as Kassie DePaiva, Tuc Watkins, and Darlene Vogel.
According to TV Line, the two executive producers of the series, Alexi Hawley and Terence Paul Winter, recently shared some details about the matter. Hawley stated, "For the first time ever in Castle history, you go into a courtroom, you actually see a trial based on a case."
Winter also explained that it is an episode that fans should look forward to. He said, "I think it will be a treat for our longtime fans because it refers to several things that have happened in the last few years."
They also hinted that Rick will have an interesting time on the stand. Winter teased, "He's an 'interesting' guy to give testimony. He has to take the stand— annnnnd it kind of goes sideways."
Episode 9 of "Castle" season 8 is expected to air on Feb. 8, while episode 10 will air on Feb. 14.
