Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, and husband Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge, are going away for a week to another country, leaving behind their children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, at the palace. According to a report by Mirror UK, the royal couple will be flying to India to go sightseeing and visiting the kingdom of Bhutan this spring.
The source mentioned that the Duke and Duchess will have a taste of some of the Asian countries' most spectacular scenery, cuisine and activities in order to fulfill and promote important diplomatic relations. The royal aides and security have already gone ahead to India and Bhutan to arrange the upcoming trip but it's not yet fully known what the royal couple's itinerary will be.
There are some bits of information that have surfaced such as they are likely to visit the Taj Mahal. Princess Diana, mother of Prince William, went to the famous scenic spot in 1992. She went to the place alone, nine months before she and Prince Charles revealed that they were separating. In this upcoming trip, the royal couple will visit the Taj Mahal together to show their unity.
The royal couple are reportedly going there in April, as revealed by Kensington Palace, in the middle of the month. They will make their way back to the United Kingdom just in time for the Queen's 90th birthday which is on April 21. It's also mentioned that Princess Charlotte's first birthday is on May 2.
In other news, the Duchess of Cambridge has been spotted dressing down for a day out. While most people expect royalty to be always dressed as if going to an event, the Duchess broke the perception when she wore yoga pants out in public. As reported in Toronto Sun, she was recently photographed wearing yoga pants and sneakers while shopping in Chelsea. The Duchess' dress-down day shows that even prominent people like her find a pair of yoga pants comforting.
