'Celebrity Apprentice' Winner Revealed in Live Season Finale

It was down to Geraldo Rivera and Leeza Gibbons in the season finale of "Celebrity Apprentice." The final task found the two creating a commercial for Universal Orlando Resort along with selling resort packages to raise money for charity. Then, Gibbons and Rivera had to present their commercial at a red carpet event in New York.

Rivera got help from eliminated competitors Vivica A. Fox, Ian Ziering, and Lorenzo Lamas. He famously clashed with the former two earlier this season.

Gibbons was given a team consisting of Kevin Jonas, Brandi Glanville, and Johnny Damon. Gibbons did not have a single row with anyone throughout the season and was dubbed to be one of the nicest contestants by many of her competitors.

In the end, Donald Trump named the seventh winner of his reality competition during the live finale Monday night on NBC. Gibbons beat out Rivera to take the honor, along with a cash prize of $250,000 for their chosen charity. Gibbons was playing for Leeza's Care Connection, which helps families whose loved ones are struggling with Alzheimer's disease. Rivera was playing for Life's Work, a charity which works with children with developmental disabilities. At the boardroom, it was revealed that Gibbons dominated in the challenge by raising $324,000 to Rivera's $146,000.

Towards the end of the live telecast, Trump announced that NBC has picked up the competition reality series for another season. The show's Twitter handle posted the following announcement after the episode: "AND, it's official: #CelebApprentice has been renewed for Season 15! #ApprenticeFinale."
