'Celebrity Big Brother' Air Date, Cast News: Blac Chyna Joins First US CBB?
The first U.S. "Celebrity Big Brother" (CBB) edition is coming in 2018. The show's producers are reportedly eyeing reality TV star Blac Chyna as one of the house guests.
Sources say producers want Chyna on board "Celebrity Big Brother" so she can share and spill secrets about her tumultuous relationship with Rob Kardashian and his clan. The model is no stranger to cameras following her around since she was in episodes of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" and the short-lived spinoff series "Rob & Chyna."
Chyna, whose real name is Angela White, recently filed a lawsuit against her baby's father and the whole Kardashian family. She's suing for domestic violence, defamation, assault and battery, as well as interference following Rob's revenge porn attacks over the summer.
"Rob Kardashian is an abuser intent on destroying Angela White, the mother of his baby, who left him in 2016," the lawsuit stated. "In revenge, the Kardashian-Jenner family became media predators, slut-shaming her on social media and killing her hit television show, which had already begun filming a second season."
Lawyers for the Kardashians, however, counter-claimed and sued Chyna for attempting to choke Rob and Kylie Jenner during one fight. The family also cited Chyna intended to get pregnant because she was motivated to ruin the Kardashians.
Chyna has an older child with Tyga, Jenner's former boyfriend. She's also best friends with Amber Rose, who used to date Kanye West, Kim Kardashian's husband.
Meanwhile, CBS announced that it will launch its very first season of "Celebrity Big Brother" after 16 years on air. The network planned on premiering the edition by winter next year.
"Celebrity Big Brother" will follow the same format as the regular summer series where house guests vie for the Head of Household and compete in the Power of Veto. Each week, house guest will also choose to evict someone from the Big Brother house.
