Channing Tatum Baby: Actor Had 'Crying Fits' During Wife's Labor
Channing Tatum held nothing back when he watched daughter Everly being born. The actor confessed to having "crying fits" when she was born and said it was "torture" not to be able to comfort his wife as she delivered.
"There's a real reason why God did not give (men) the ability to have babies, because we would not be able to do it," Channing told Chelsea Handler last night. "I don't know how women do it. It's a real thing. It's like National Geographic animal-style for real. I don't get it."
"I probably went to the bathroom four times and had a crying fit. Like, I'm just like, I don't know what to do. It's like someone's hurting, someone that you love and you can't do anything about it," Tatum explained. "You physically cannot help. And I'm still not helping and the baby's out. It doesn't matter. You are useless. Men are useless but like, we are really useless during this. The baby's gonna come out whether you're there or not."

Tatum and wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum welcomed daughter Everly in May. The baby girl came just four years after their wedding in 2009. The two dated for some time before marrying, and Tatum previously said that he and Jenna work hard to keep their relationship good.
"You have to want it. Jenna's and my thing is checking in with each other all the time, like 'On a scale from 1 to 10, how much do you love me right now?' And you gotta be honest, and you've got to want an honest answer," he told Cosmopolitan magazine.
He and Jenna decided to post their own photo of Everly for the first time instead of selling the photo to a publication.
"I don't judge anyone that (sells baby photos). We just didn't want to. Part of me wants to take a thousand pictures and hold them up for the world to see, but I don't want her to have to deal with that," Tatum said.
"We were thinking about doing that whole thing and giving it to charity. I would have been happy not putting out a picture at all, but paparazzi were everywhere. I had to smuggle myself out of the studio every day. We decided to do it on Father's Day and put it out ourselves. That's it. Here's the first one and now we're going to live our lives," Tatum added.
