Charlie Sheen HIV News: Actor May Be Confronted With Lawsuits from Ex-Lovers
After Charlie Sheen came out to the public about his secret battle with HIV last week, his battle with the disease will not be his sole problem in the upcoming days. According to reports, the actor could face several lawsuits from his ex-lovers since the actor allegedly did not disclose his condition to them.
According to the Mirror, a source told them that Sheen went out of control, after he learned that he contracted HIV. The website said that about 75 people, whom Sheen allegedly bedded between four years ago until recently, have contacted their lawyers to sue the former "Two and a Half Men" actor.
The report said that the claims range from "emotional distress to negligent transmission of a sex disease." A source told the website that his revelation brought panic to everyone he slept with, and even said that more than 700 former lovers might even come out to sue him.
Radar Online reported that Sheen had become so reckless with his condition, and even put a lot of people exposed to the disease during a "wild" party in 2012. According to his longtime right-hand-man, Steve Han, the 50-year-old actor sliced his leg during the said party, and spilled blood on the floor.
The assistant did not know his condition that time, but admitted he felt there was something wrong with Sheen. The actor only revealed his secret to Han last 2013, and the right-hand-man said Sheen assured him that "things will get better." Han is now responsible to make sure his boss take the necessary medications.
When Han asked the actor on where he might have gotten the disease, he said that Sheen only "shrugged" to him. In another report by Mirror UK, it was revealed that the actor thinks he might have caught the disease from a transsexual man. "He fears during one of his first encounters he was given HIV and he is concerned it was all caught on tape," a source told the website.
