Cheap Android Phones 2015: Xolo Unveils Another Budget Phone With Mid-Range Specs, Costs Only $89
XOLO is among the emerging brands in India, a market that already has some bigger local players like Karbonn and Micromax, as well as international companies like Samsung, Xiaomi and OnePlus.
And so in an attempt to beat the competition in the price point battle, XOLO has recently launched a brand new super affordable handset.
According to a report by GSM Arena, the Indian manufacturer has unleashed the XOLO Prime, its newest budget smartphone.
In the report, the device packs a 4.5-inch IPS display with a rather low-end 854 x 480 resolution, 1GB of RAM, a quad-core CPU clocked at 1.3GHz, and 8GB of internal memory.
In addition, the Android powered device also has a 5MP primary camera, a microSD card slot for memory expansion, and 1,800mAh of battery.
Unfortunately for selfie fans, the XOLO Prime will not come with any front shooters, though it will arrive with the latest Android version, 5.0 Lollipop out of the box.
So how much is XOLO charging for an entry-level handset with decent specs such as this one? Not much.
In the report, the XOLO Prime will be initially priced at Rs. 5,699 or about $89. The device will be available in a variety of colors, including black, blue, red and gold.
