Chevonne O'Sahugnessy: New 'Love Finds You' Film and Book Series Coming Soon
Chevonne O'Sahugnessy, the founder of Mission Pictures International, has embarked on a new mission to join Guideposts with her company in a combined book and film series entitled "Love Finds You." O'Sahugnessy spoke with The Christian Post about the venture and what she hopes audiences will learn.
"Love Finds You" takes place across the 50 United States, with each book set in a new location. The series is a joint release from Guideposts and Mission Pictures International. Several books have already been released, and the films are currently in production.

"When I first read the books, I thought, 'I love these stories.' They have a message of girls finding love within themselves. When the girl finds love, she finds the love she can give to a man, her family, and community. Unless we find the love in our own selves, we keep going around in circles, making the same mistakes- until we love ourselves, until we can become who we are meant to be … with a little bit of prayer, of course."
"Each one of us has a glow inside of us when we find what makes us 'us.' When I was given my first position, I was able to make my own way. These kids come in and say, 'I'll do it' but lack original thought and drive. I think women as a whole are an inspiring group of people, if only we could support one another and help one another discover whom we should be."
What role has faith played in your life and in this series?
"Faith plays a major part in this series- it is finding not only yourself, but also about finding faith in God, community, and love. Your life will go on and you won't get lost … I met Cindy (her co-producer) in 1999-2000, when we made four films at the same time due to the actors' strike ... I ended up going to Bible study at Cindy's home and we ended up working on the animated film, 'The 10 Commandments.'"
"I took on that movie and was responsible for selling the world on it. Finding this niche has helped me see that I was working without purpose. It's probably why I latched onto the project so quickly."
