Chicago Blackhawks vs Minnesota Wild Live Stream Free: Watch Online NHL 2014 Stanley Cup Playoffs Game 6
The Chicago Blackhawks will play the Minnesota Wild on Tuesday night in Game 6 of their NHL 2014 Stanley Cup Playoffs series. The Blackhawks have the chance to put this series to bed tonight, but if the Wild can win on home ice they will take the series to a winner takes all Game 7. The game is scheduled to start at 9 p.m. ET and can be watched on TV on the NBC network or online through free live stream (details below).
Amazingly the Blackhawks became the first team in the Stanley Cup 2014 second round to win a game after conceding the first goal of the game, when they claimed a 2-1 win over the Wild in game 5.
If they had failed to pull off that comeback then they would have been 2-3 down in the series, and the Wild would be the ones playing tonight to claim a place in the Conference Finals.
But as it stands, Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews managed to inspire his team in Game 5 by scoring the game winning goal in the third period, which in fact was his NHL-high fourth GWG of the postseason and franchise-high tenth GWG of his postseason career.
Only three other players in Blackhawks history have managed to score at least four GWG in one playoff year. They are: Dustin Byfuglien (2010) had five, and Bobby Hull (1971) and Darryl Sutter (1985) had four apiece, according to Elias Sports Bureau.
Chicago are experts at winning through tight situations in the Playoffs. In 13 Playoff games since 2009 when they were 2-2 in a best of seven playoffs series they have never lost in Games 5 or 6, going an amazing 13-0. They will look to maintain that record tonight and win through by eliminating the Minnesota Wild.
