This is the second of their four meetings for the regular season, with the first match being taken by the Hornets when they played at the Time Warner Cable Arena.

The game was blown out early, as the Hornets started the game by scoring 37 points in the first quarter, while only allowing the Bulls 20.

From there, they would continue to outscore their rivals for every quarter until the final buzzer sounded and the game ended 130-105.

In the losing end, Jimmy Butler had 26 points but only picked up one rebound and assist throughout the game.

Derrick Rose struggled with only four points but picked up five assists in the game.

Doug McDermott had 17 off the bench to share the scoring load, but it was certain that the Bulls needed more from their stars.
