'Chicago Fire' Season 6 Spoilers: Dawson Struggles With Her Father's Situation in Episode 7

Molly's North finally finds a new location when "Chicago Fire" returns for season 6.

Titled "A Man's Legacy," the show's midseason premiere will see the team's bar get ready to open its doors once again. Chief Boden (Eamonn Walker) gets emotional after rescuing a popular blues player from a burning establishment. Elsewhere, Sylvie Brett (Kara Killmer) tries to come up with a life-saving decision for an individual who's near and dear to the Firehouse 51 family.

Dawson (Monica Raymund) copes with her complicated situation with her father, while Brian "Otis" Zvonecek (Yuri Sardarov) finds time to get everything together as he prepares for the grand Molly's North openning. He also works hard to impress Lily (Ariane Rinehart).

The first half of season 6 left off with Dawson responding to a call about a stabbing incident, only to find out that the victim was actually her dad. Viewers also saw a drunken kiss between Kelly Severide (Taylor Kinney) and Stella Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo).

Although it did not exactly restart their relationship, the kiss did confirm that Kidd still has feelings for the charming firefighter. Fans will just have to find out in the next episodes if their romantic encounter will lead to something more.

"A great deal of [the rest of] this season is an off-again romance between these two," showrunner Derek Haas told TV Guide. "For her, there's a different man in her life that comes into play. For him, there's other things going on and so, yeah, we're gonna build it up for a little bit."

Considering Haas' statement, it's possible that the former lovers-turned-roommates will not be acting on the romantic feelings they may have for each other anytime soon. It seems fans will have to wait a bit longer to see how their complicated relationship unfolds.

"Chicago Fire" season 6 returns with new episodes on Thursday, Jan. 4, at 10 p.m. EST on NBC.
