Chip and Joanna Gaines Tease Holiday Collection on Target
Chip and Joanna Gaines have started setting the holiday mood.
The "Fixer Upper" stars recently teased the launch of their "Hearth and Hand" holiday collection on Target, according to reports. The upcoming line will be launched on Sunday, Nov. 5. It includes various home items fit for the holiday season, including kitchenware, clothing, decor and more.
As previously confirmed, the couple decided to end their hit home renovation program after season 5. Multiple sources have confirmed that security issues drove them to pull the plug on the show. However, Chip and Joanna denied all the rumors and said they only want to focus on their family and other business projects.
Meanwhile, Chip announced on Instagram last week that he will cut his long hair if fans donate to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The HGTV star encouraged his social media followers to help him raise money over the next four days.
Everytime they raise more money, Chip promised he will chop off his locks. "And, who knows, maybe if you really exceed my expectations ... I'll buzz it all off," he wrote. Chip's gesture does not come as a surprise since the Gaineses are known for supporting various charitable institutions.
It was speculated that the famous couple had sold their residential property in Texas after announcing the end of the show. To set the record straight, Chip and Joanna's rep released a statement last week saying they have not gotten rid of the original "Fixer Upper" house yet.
"The Gaines wanted the property line to match the fence line, which required a 0.50-acre tract to be deeded to their neighbors, the Peters family. The Gaines have not sold their home and they do not have any plans to do so," reads the statement.
The fifth and final season of "Fixer Upper" premieres Tuesday, Nov. 21, at 9 p.m. EDT on HGTV.
