Christian Rock Pioneers To Play Reunion Concert
Pioneering Christian rock bands Undercover, The Choir, Altar Boys and Crumbächer will be performing a reunion concert in celebration of over 20 years of music, ministry and friendships.
Born out of a small counterculture in Southern California, these four bands wrote heartfelt, honest, God-centered songs that would lay the foundation for todays Christian rock genre, according to a press release. In 1985, the bands were label mates on Broken Records, a youth music ministry outreach sponsored by Calvary Chapel of Costa Mesa and a part of Maranatha Music, yet have remained connected through the years.
Long before Switchfoot and Skillet, these artists were stretching the limits placed on them by an industry that seemed unable to move forward, writes Taketwoproductions.net. They broke through, broke out, and ripped apart the standards that are to this day, still being BROKEN!
Presented by Take Two Productions, the concert will be held at Mariners Church in Irvine, CA and will feature special guests 441.
