'Criminal Minds' Season 11 Episode 9 Spoilers: BAU Team And NSA On The Hunt For 'The Dirty Dozen'
The hit crime drama series "Criminal Minds" promised that season 11 would be "serialized" by inserting the story of "The Dirty Dozen" throughout the season. Tonight, the hunt continues for the group of serial killers since the BAU team will join forces with the National Security Agency, or the NSA, to track down this criminals.
According to Carter Matt, "The Dirty Dozen" will be the center of the upcoming episode, which is titled "Internal Affairs," even if the team is also investigating another murder case. The current case that the team is handling involves missing and dead DEA agents, which is why the behavioral analysts were invited to help the NSA. Fans are curious on how the case connects to the group of assassins, which viewers have been dying to know since the beginning of the season.
In the sneak peek released for "Criminal Minds" season 11 episode 9, fans saw a woman being held in what looks like a shed. The woman is looking terrified as a masked person approaches her. The teaser said "Face Your Fears," and viewers are anxious to know if the masked person is one of the "Dirty Dozen" or if he's the killer of the DEA agents.
The synopsis of the next "Criminal Minds" episode reads, "After two undercover DEA agents are murdered and a third goes missing, the BAU joins the NSA to investigate whether an underground Internet drug syndicate is involved. Also, Hotch hopes the team's work with the NSA brings them closer to finding the "Dirty Dozen" hitmen ring."
The episode "Internal Affairs" was directed by Diana Valentine and was written by Sharon Lee Watson. Aisha Tyler will also be back tonight for her recurring role as Dr. Tara Lewis.
