Darlene Zschech To Release Second Solo Album

Change Your World to hit stores in September

Hillsong Church Worship Pastor Darlene Zschech is set to release her latest solo project Change Your World this September. The album is the follow-up to Zschech’s acclaimed solo pop debut, Kiss of Heaven.

Having Co-written most of the songs with David Holmes, who also worked on Kiss of Heaven, Darlene also produced the album alongside co-producers Holmes and Andy Sorensen at The Grove Studios, which is owned by Zschech and her husband Mark.

Change Your World will feature a new arrangement of Michael W. Smith’s classic hymn, as well as a “soon to be classic hymn,” “Call Upon His Name,” according to a press release.

“Miracle,” the first single from the album, will be sent to radio outlets worldwide this month. The song features Wayne and Libby Huira from the Parachute Band on backing vocals.

Nashville recording engineer F. Reid Shippen (Mercyme, The Afters, Rock n Roll Worship Circus) came to Australia to mix the album.

Change Your World will be the second recording released this year that features Zschech, with the Hillsong Church’s 14th album God He Reigns already in the Top 10 on Australian’s mainstream chart.
