'Days of Our Lives' Spoilers, Week January 12-16: Jen Lilley Leaving Show to Start Music Career?
Is a major character on "Days of Our Lives" leaving the soap to pursue a musical career?
According to Soap Central, Jen Lilley, who plays Theresa on "Days of Our Lives" is a very good singer and that Capital Records has expressed an interest in signing her to record two albums. Apparently, the recording company was very impressed with Lilley's Christmas duet with co-star Eric Martsof, who plays Brady Black on DOOL, and that they are interested to start her music career.
Fans of the show know that Lilley can sing and would probably support her should she decide to leave the show for a musical career. But without Salem's favorite villainess, will the soap be the same, or will the character be recast? As of the moment, Lilley has not issued a statement about the report.

In other news, there has been rumors that Allison Sweeney will be returning to "Days of Our Lives" to reprise her role as Sami Brady. But new reports make the chances of Sweeney returning to the soap even slimmer as the actress has been cast in a series of movies on Hallmark. According to Deadline, Sweeney will star in Hallmark's "Chocolate Chip Cookie Murder" which is based on the best-selling books by Joanne Fluke. Sweeney will be playing the lead character, Hannah Swensen, the owner of the town's cookie store.

Jan. 12- This week, Paul just admitted to Will that he is gay. On Monday, Paul will come clean with Sonny in hopes of winning him back.
Jan. 13- Victor and Clyde have never seen eye to eye, and on Tuesday, the two will have a showdown over business matters.
Jan. 14- In one of the most shocking storylines in the soap, it can be recalled that Eve slept with her daughter Paige's boyfriend, JJ. On Wednesday, a vengeful Eve is tempted to tell Jennifer that she slept with JJ.
Jan. 15- Melanie and Brady agreed not to let anyone know that they are planning to date, but someone is about to catch them kissing on Thursday.
Jan. 16- Adrienne will be spending time with Lucas on Friday, and finds herself laughing for the first time in ages.
"Days of Our Lives" airs Mondays to Fridays at 1 p.m. on NBC.
