'Days of Our Lives' Spoilers for Friday, February 26, 2016: Ava's Death Shakes Johnson Clan, Summer Is Daniel's Sister?
Following the heartbreaking and chilling moments on Thursday's episode of "Days of Our Lives," spoilers reveal that the Johnson clan will continue to bear the cross that Ava's death has put on their shoulders.
The previous episode revealed how Joey (James Lastovic) decided to take vengeance one step further and suffocated Ava (Tamara Braun) until she died. For the most part, fans can't blame the man. After all, he was dumped by Ava, he had to suffer the discovery that the girl went to bed with his dad, and had himself worried for Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) after Ava accused her of something she didn't do.
While some may have seen Joey's acts coming, the most shocking part of Thursday's episode was Steve's (Stephen Nichols) sacrifice. He gave Roman (Josh Taylor) a confession that definitely wasn't what happened when Ava died. As a father, viewers could probably understand what he did, but some believe that Steve should have allowed Joey to face the consequences of his actions, despite his intentions of doing it.
In the upcoming episode, it is said that Ava's death will continue to haunt the Johnsons, most probably Joey, who realized what he just did. It is unclear if he will go to the authorities and admit what he did, but Steve will obviously not allow his son to rot behind bars.
Elsewhere, Hope (Kristian Alfonso) will receive a phone call that will make her reminisce how Bo (Peter Reckell) died. She will also start thinking of the desperate measures she has taken ever since the man passed away. Fans will have to wait and see who made the call and what the chilling phone call was about.
Meanwhile, Summer (Marie Wilson) is starting to be a pain in the neck. It's getting more and more apparent that she has psychological issues and Nicole (Arianne Zucker) will be on a journey of discovering what's up with the troubled lady.
While Nicole continues to doubt Summer, Brady (Eric Martsolf) has other plans. It is worth noting that Brady has a very deep connection with Daniel (Shawn Christian) and he won't just lie back knowing that there is something behind Summer's disturbed life and it could have a direct link to his fallen friend. According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, he will get Summer's DNA tested, but fans will have to wait for the results to find out if Summer turns out to be Daniel's sister.
"Days of Our Lives" airs every weekday on NBC.
