'Deus Ex: Mankind Divided' News: Concept Art Gives Fans A Sneak Peek Inside Jensen's Apartment
Two concept art images shared by publisher Square Enix for the game "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" has given fans of the much-awaited video game a sneak peek of what the inside of Adam Jensen's apartment looks like. In a post in the game's official website, the images were shared as a special holiday gift from Square Enix.
One of the images features Jensen's bedroom, which has a big bed in the middle of the room and has little lighting except for an industrial-type chandelier and a candelabra on one side of the bed. The other image is a big room that looks like a combined living room and work area. Like the bedroom, it is also dark except for a few light fixtures. Square Enix described Jensen's place as one that is "once again inspired by the cyber renaissance theme, although darker than what it was in Human Revolution."
In related news, the game's developer, Eidos Montreal, has promised fans of the game series that the upcoming game will not be what they call a "straight port" of the game's console version. This piece of news comes straight from a spokesperson of Eidos who told fans during the New York Comic-Con that that their game will not follow the path of other games which were a mere "straight up port" of the console versions of the games, according to another report in Hardcore Gamer.
According to them, they are working on a game that will be an equally enjoying and compelling experience no matter the platform the game is being played on. For the PC version of the game, Eidos is said to be working on "multiple things that will allow users to really enjoy the experience." No other details about what these are were however given.
"Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" is the "Deus Ex" franchise's latest game, following "Deus Ex: Human Revolution." It is said to be set two years after the events that happened in "Human Revolution." The main protagonist Adam Jensen returns in the game, this time working for an international taskforce that aims to fight terrorism.
The game was originally set to be released in February, but has been delayed to August 23, 2016.
