'Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden' news: Western fans can preorder the game

Dragon Ball fans all over the world are all awaiting "Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden." With "Dragon Ball Super" currently airing, the excitement has definitely doubled. The game will probably be released first in the Eastern part of the world, but good news recently surfaced for Western followers.

According to IBTimes, Amazon has reportedly announced that Western fans will be able to preorder the game, and as a bonus for doing so, they'll be throwing in a virtual copy of a Super Famicom game. The Super Famicom game is apparently "Dragon Ball Z: Super Butoden 2." Codes will be sent via email, coming from Amazon 48 hours after.

Moreover, it's not where the treat ends for fans. Apparently, along with the bonus game, six supporting characters will also be available for preordered copies. The characters would be: Kid Goku, Garlic Jr., Super Vegito, Metal Cooler, Kid Gohan, and Baby Goku. It seems that this time, the game is trying to reach out more to younger demographics.

Reviews for the game have been quite good. Arc System Works, creator of the game, has finally shifted away from the classic one-on-one fights and has decided to incorporate 3 vs. 3 battles. This is very similar to the Marvel vs. Capcom game series. There are also over 100 characters available for players to choose from, including some from the brand-new "Dragon Ball Resurrection F" movie. Koalition reports that the combos are definitely what set this new game apart, being more flexible and come with unusual attacks. There are also six game modes offered: Z-Story, Adventure Mode, Extreme World Tournament, Battle Mode, Versus Mode, and Quest Mode.

The price set for preordering Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden is $29.99, and it is already available. It also comes in a game bundle with "The Legend of Legacy" and "Fire Emblem Fates: Conquests" for $109.94. The game set for Nintendo 3DS will hit stores in October.
