Duggar Family News: Jessa Duggar Seewald Prepares for Childbirth; Predicts Her Baby's Weight

Jessa Duggar Seewald is now preparing for her childbirth, and is currently playing a guessing game with her family on what her and Ben's baby will weigh at birth.

According to People, Jessa asked her mother-in-law about her husband's birth weight to probably estimate their baby's weight, and the 22-year-old posted their conversation on her Facebook account. She said, "Was Benji a big baby? Maybe I can calculate an average for this baby." Ben's mom said that he weighed eight pounds, 15 ounces at birth, and wished, for Jessa's sake, for the baby not to be huge. Jessa revealed that she was nine pounds, 15 ounces at birth, making her the biggest out of all Michelle and Jim Bob's 19 kids. She just captioned her post on Facebook with, "Haha! I'd say it's very possible we could have a chubby little baby!"

The baby is now past its due date, which is Nov. 1. The day also marks Jessa and Ben's first wedding anniversary. According to She Knows, Jessa tried to induce her childbirth by eating a pineapple since she is now past her due date, but inducing did not work for her. Her followers suggested more natural ways to induce childbirth, like taking evening primrose oil or castor oil, while others suggested going for a walk, lovemaking, and getting a massage.

According to Inquisitr, the expectant mother also fears that she will have a difficult childbirth because she's now overdue and is also expecting a big baby. Her sister, Jill Duggar Dillard, had a difficult delivery, and Jessa is worried that she'll also experience the same. Jill had given birth via C-section at a hospital, after she went through 70 hours of labor. Jill was initially supposed to give birth at home, but had to go the hospital since her water already broke, and the baby was in breech position.
