''Elementary' Season 4 Episode 13 Spoilers: Sleuthing Duo Tackles The Case Of A Botany Professor
CBS' hit crime drama TV series "Elementary" Season 4 returns this week with an exciting, brand new episode that is slated to see partners Sherlock Holmes (Jonny Lee Miller) and Joan Watson (Lucy Liu) tackling an interesting case that involves the death of a botany professor. Meanwhile, a plant-loving neighbor complains over the duo's annoying activities.
According to the synopsis shared over at The Futon Critic for the episode called "A Study in Charlotte," Holmes and Watson will be called in to look into a horrifying mass murder case which happens in a university. Going further into the details, it is discovered that poisonous mushrooms were used by the suspect to murder a botany professor and a number of his students.
The report from Christian Today says that the sleuths might be looking at a crime of revenge. It is speculated that the killer might have had a score to settle with the instructor and what better way to get back at a botanist but to kill him with the very thing that he loves most. With the use of a specific kind of fungus, it implies that the murderer must have had some knowledge of plants as he/she knows which plant to use. Perhaps the murderer used to be one of the victim's students. However, what is chilling is the fact that he/she didn't care if a lot of innocent people also died in the process. Will Sherlock and Joan be able to pin down the culprit?

Meanwhile, the promo video for the episode introduces yet another interesting individual in the person of Watson's neighbor, Trent (Richard Kind).
"I had to move because of you two: the strange noises, the weird smells, explosions, bees on the roof…" the old man confronted Watson. To get even, the TFC summary said that Joan will be disturbed by loud noise from next door. It turns out that her good neighbor is renting out his home to hard partiers.
