'Elementary' Season 4 Episode 4 Spoilers: Holmes, Watson Investigate A Murder Case

CBS' hit drama TV series "Elementary" will be pushing through this Thanksgiving night, Thursday, Nov. 26, with a brand new episode from its fourth season titled "All My Exes Live in Essex."

According to a report from Carter Matt, there's a possibility that the episode won't be able to reach its target viewing rates this week as this is kind of a "bad night for television." However, there's a need for the network to air a new episode this week as they're making sure they're able to fit the number of episodes that they have into this season given the show's late start. Also, the ratings for their Thanksgiving airing last year were not as bad as they expected them to be, the site wrote.

On to the episode itself, the media outlet shared the full synopsis and it indicates that the partners Sherlock Holmes (Jonny Lee Miller) and Joan Watson (Lucy Liu) will be following a murder case that involves the death of a fertility lab technician. As they go deeper in their investigation, the pair will learn that the woman also lived a "secret personal life" that leads them to consider a handful of suspects.

The summary went on to suggest that it seems like the lab technician won't be the only one whose skeletons in the closet will be uncovered. It is said that Watson herself will fall under the scrutiny of a New York Police detective for something that is yet to be revealed.

A promo trailer, which was also posted on the website, further reveals the exciting events that are about to unfold in this episode. The video opens up with Holmes and Watson facing each other with their hands behind their backs. It appears that they are practicing to unlock the handcuffs they've put on.

About the victim, Sherlock said right away that she's already dead, suggesting that the body could still be missing when they started the investigation. Meanwhile, Watson seems a bit confused why the police are after her.
